Hoptrail and Hypernative Partner to Combat Illicit Onchain Activity

April 25, 2024

Crypto risk intelligence firm Hoptrail and Hypernative, a leading Web3 cyber threat prevention company, have entered into a strategic agreement to share data on the Ethereum blockchain.

This collaboration is designed to enhance the firms' risk toolsets, and to enable better large language models (LLM) training, with a specific focus on enhancing capabilities to combat illicit activities.

The primary aim of this partnership is to harness the potential of AI in identifying and preventing illicit activities on the blockchain. By pooling their data resources, Hoptrail and Hypernative are looking to create a more robust model of transaction analysis and fraud prevention - from sanctions and mixing services, to hacks, scams, and exploits. This will not only improve the accuracy of detecting anomalies but also enhance the speed at which potential threats are identified.

"Working with Hypernative is really exciting", said Henry Burrows, CEO of Hoptrail. He added:

"They're at the forefront of fraud prevention in Web3 and are building some truly impressive threat detection systems. Over the years, Hoptrail has amassed a significant database of red flagged wallets on Ethereum across an array of risk types, and cross-pollenating that data with Hypernative's database will allow us to enhance our respective capabilities and make crypto a safer place to transact. We are very much looking forward to seeing what we can build together."

Gal Sagie, CEO of Hypernative said:

"There is a growing sense in Web3 that the industry needs to go beyond audits and bounties. Real-time monitoring and automated response is the missing piece and we are thrilled to join hands with Hoptrail to create a new standard for active security in Web3."
